The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. I was in a party of 8 people and Ken & Jasmine plus the team provided a service that was intuitive, with drinks and food arriving at the perfect time. Their friendly attitude and focus on getting it right for the customer stood out. The food and drinks provided a true taste of the Caribbean which can be difficult to stay authentic. This was achieved masterfully. The mix of visitors and local customers was great to see and a clear sign of a thriving culture centre. If only there were more El Fredo's in the world, people would have full bellies and fuller hearts.

Great place to taste the best local food in Basseterre. Really close to the cruise terminal. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Really good prices as well. Strongly recommend it.

Don't miss this place. We had the Saltfish and the Stew Mutton with dumplings for a side. The homemade chili relish was excellent but try a tiny bit for starters because it's super spicy! The ginger beer was phenomenal and a nice large pour. They accept credit card.

I ordered two items: one to have and one to go. The wait time was fair. The waitress was pleasant.

The salmon meal was good except that it had a slight "fresh" scent and I was quite surprised at the small portion size of the ground provisions. The ground provisions is what made me want to try this place, so I was disappointed when I saw what was offered.

I ordered a chicken roti to go and I didn't like it at all. Somethings should be kept simple/traditional and this is one of them. It's also topped with a sweet tamarind or mango chutney which I didn't like.

Would I go back there? Yes. I like the chill vibe and I know to stick to their full meals.

Food is very nice, service is great, but it’s at a main street so it can be noisy sometimes. All over all a recommendation. Try the conch with garlic, great stuff.

5 minute walk from the port to this excellent local restaurant. Beautiful food and friendly service. Very very reasonable price for food and drink. Highly recommend.

For cruise passengers looking for an authentic meal, this is the place and easy walking distance from the pier. As of this writing, they are only open Tue thru Sat 11 to 3.

When I came back to St. Kitts, this place was a must to visit. Food and service stands out. I hope they never sell off the business. It needs to remain in the hands of those who care.

The ribs were tasty! I stole some of my husband's lunch. This was an excellent experience and service was great!

Venture out of the port to El Fredo's! I had the ribs, my husband had the snapper, and our friends had the lobster and shrimp. Everything was amazing and you literally can not beat the prices. Our bill was about $80 American dollars and that included a few rum punches. It's close enough to walk to from the port.

We enjoyed Fredo’s so much that we came here twice. Highly recommend the creole pot fish and garlic conch! Bonus that the dining area has a laid back and leafy courtyard vibe.

An absolutely delicious and refreshing lunch on our way to the airport. The setting is a beautiful respite in the middle of the craziness and the food is unbelievable. We were told many times this place is a “can’t miss” and we were not disappointed!
The homemade ginger beer was such a highlight.

Just ask a taxi driver at the cruise terminal and they recommended this place and was only $10 for 6 of us there and back or you can walk in about 15 minutes

First off this place gets 20 stars. Jasmine and her staff are the most warming people ever. The food is on point every time. Never a complaint. He prices are worth it each time. Love it. I eat hear every week.

What a wonderful restaurant. The waitress was a joy to be around. She picked my lunch for me and trust was not misplaced. One of the best meals I have ever had. The walk is about a 1/2 mile from the cruise terminal on Bay Rd and the choice of seating once there can be indoors or on an outdoor patio. Thank you guys for the great service, excellent food and the love from the island that you gave us.

This is a great place to taste the local food and drinks of the island and takes only a short walk from the port to get there. Posted prices are in EC, so dividing by 2.7 is currently required to convert to US currency.

El Fredo's is an open-air restaurant that has great local food at reasonable prices. Have been there several times when I visit Saint Kitts, and always enjoy the meals, the atmosphere and the great service I get there.

This is such a warm family oriented restaurant that you feel welcomed and right at home every time. Meals are delish and consistent at affordable prices! The atmosphere is light being surrounded by lush greenery and breezy because of the close proximity to the beautiful Caribbean Sea. What more can you ask for? ! Oh wifi perhaps? ! Yeah, there's that too. So make up your mind to pay a visit and enjoy as much as I do. Mainly because I'm here 8 out of 7 days a week but don't tell my bank account that bit! Haha
