Island Buzz Tours Nevis

I had a wonderful experience hiking the Rollins Trail to the summit of Mt Nevis. Michael was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly — everything you would want in a guide. It was a solo trip, just he and I, and he was willing to accommodate me. The trees and growth in the rainforest are magnificent. Michael pointed out many native plants and how they have been used in the past. He also told me much about the history of the mountains and its geology. He was a wealth of information. I highly recommend Island Buzz for any hiking adventure on Nevis!

Fun trip, but the climb is a lot! I went on the hike to Nevis Peak and fyi it's a very intense hours-long trek uphill, with some rock climbing involved. I'm not an avid hiker, so it was challenging to say the least, but the tour guides were patient and kind. I really appreciate their assistance as far as my pace.

Had a great experience, michael is an excellent and informative guide! Wasn’t sure if getting a guide was necessary to hike the nevis peak, but it was SO worth it.he helped us get through tough spots that required specific footing, gave us a heads up before especially slippery spots, and taught us about the local plants and culture.the hike itself is beautiful, and so much fun to climb the ropes.highly recommend booking with island buzz tours, you won’t regret it.

My husband and I enjoyed a few days of bespoke touring with island buzz. From a timely airport pickup (despite the delay) to a wonderful island tour of st kitts, I highly recommend booking with Michael, Janeel, and everyone from island buzz.

We loved our st kitts tour with Janeel where we stopped a batik boutique, enjoyed a rum tasting, and a walk around brimstone hill. I appreciated how Janeel adjusted the timing of tours so that we didn’t overlap with the crowds of people visiting from cruise ships.

We toured Nevis with Michael, and enjoyed a fun (invigorating!) waterfalls hike. Be prepared with boots and a water bottle. Michael helped us find a lovely place for lunch (banana) and then we enjoyed another rum tasting and a few drinks at sunshine beach bar. Loved our tours with island buzz!

Such a brilliant and informative hike. Michael knows the history of this island so well and I would recommend one of the organised tours that they do to anyone!

Highly recommend Michael at Island Buzz Tours. We did Nevis Peak Hike with Michael. He responded to my initial email inquiry within minutes and kept in communication up until the day of the hike. He was accommodating and even helped us with transportation from the the boat dock to the trail head. He was very knowledgeable about the fauna, animals, and even the history of St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as, the surrounding islands. Michael kept us engaged throughout and made this challenging hike a super enjoyable experience.

I’m 77, recently widowed, on my own in Nevis for the first time. Good choice, people here are friendly, kind and interesting. A party of one isn’t the great business for a hiking guide, which I understand. Michael was welcoming and charged me for one (not two). AND he picked me up at and delivered me to Oualie Beach for $10. Including (at his insistence when he heard I love mangoes) brief stop at the outdoor market in Charlestown! But the hike itself was the biggest plus. For me and I’m sure many people, Michael is the unusual perfect combination of safety first, support when needed and interesting chatter. He’s knowledgable of local fauna, history, and life in Nevis. Saddle Hill in its entirety was not trivial for me. But with all the chit chat it was a blast that went by quickly Thank you Michael for this memorable experience. I’m sure you’ll do well in your endeavours.

The tour and tour guide was amazing. It was a beautiful experience and the trail was not difficult and the guide was very cool and informative. Definitely will try this company again!

Michael was the absolute best guide for the Nevis Peak experience. He was so friendly. He made sure to stop and point out unique plants and trees along the way, explaining how they ended up in Nevis, and shared a lot of interesting history with us. We were not the fastest group, and he never once was impatient or frustrated with us. I highly recommend booking any excursion with Michael. He really wants to make your experience in Nevis, a memorable one, and he will do everything in his power to do so!

Really enjoyed this experience. But it is a challenging climb and worth noting before setting off, that you will heed to haul yourself up using the ropes or strong embedded tree roots. Michael is great!

We did water falls trail with Michael. It was a fantastic experience. He gave us a very good idea about plants and trees in the rain forest. The trail gets tricky after the 1st and 2nd falls. However with Michael’s guidance we were able to go all the way through. I highly recommend Island Buzz Tiur.

We hired Island Buzz to guide us up Nevis Peak. It was a wonderful adventure led by DeJhuan. It is surely not for the inexperienced hiker as it requires hand over hand scrambling and fixed ropes to negotiate the mud and slippery surfaces. It was super easy to organize the excursion with Michael the owner through Whatsapp. They provided door-to-door service from our hotel. Definitely recommend the hike for the adventurous and Island Buzz for the guidance.

Always such a good experience with Michael! I did the 7 Waterfalls & Saddle Hill Hike and he was consistently helpful and patient with my Mum, friend and I, whilst keeping our safety first, especially when I was slipping. Wow. This is the company and tour guide you want. Michael was extremely responsive to my inquiries and questions through the booking process. My son and I were so fortunate to have Michael as our guide up to Nevis Peak. He was patient with me on the muddy climb, consistently helping me find the best routes. With his guidance, I made it to the top! Though I was extremely slow, I never felt pressured or rushed. I am just so grateful we had him as a guide.

Michael Morton, "the tour guy", very knowledgeable of the area. Its flora, fauna, history and extremely patient and respectful. Highly recommended. Ask him to take you to the waterfalls, specially in the rainy season.
