Poinciana Restaurant

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Reservations were made and we were accommodated accordingly. The interior design is definitely due for an upgrade. The tables are a bit close to each other. The service was kind of slow and personally it did not seem that busy. The food was amazing. We both finished our plates with no complaints. Definitely left wanting more. The prices were also affordable in comparison to many of the other restaurants on the island.

Excellent - authentic Caribbean food in very pleasant atmosphere. Had the creole lobster and linguini- very tasty and much larger lobster tail than expected- Snapper was also good choice!

The goat cheese salad is absolutely amazing, and it is definitely a place to come to if you come to the island!

Food is always good here, i can never complain. The servers are always attentive, the atmosphere is always good. I had the coconut shrimp for my appetizer and it was lovely. I also had the rack of lamb as my main and i enjoyed this to the fullest.no complaints.

A staple in the Kittitian cuisine front, this was my first time there and this restaurant has lasted because of its quality food and lovely ambiance

Came here for dinner as it was a recommendation. Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the mussels which I thought were good but I didn't realize how they would be served, I assumed in a broth which I prefer, but not the restaurant's fault. I enjoyed my filet. I enjoyed the Banana Crepes dessert best. I found the shrimp to very tasty. All in all, good food close to hotel. Make a reservation.

I was very disappointed with my evening at Poinciana. In fact, I’m writing this review while I am still here. Poinciana is a lovely restaurant, with Caribbean winds wafting over you as you eat. However, we’ve had a pretty terrible experience here. We were ignored for a half an hour before we even had water and numerous couple have come and gone while we’ve been sitting here. I have seldom been treated like such a second class citizen. Additionally, we had to order from a very limited menu due to Valentine’s Day and my lobster (which we waited hours for) was very tough and dry. My boyfriends steak was incredibly fatty and ill-prepared. And this was how we spent our first night in this lovely island - ignored, disappointed, sad and eating a very expensive but not too tasty meal. I feel that the “2” was generous in this instance. So disappointed.

Tried to get a reservation. Phoned during the day; no answer. Phoned in the evening; straight to voice mail. Phoned again, no answer. Stopped by about lunch to get a dinner reservation. No one there. Stopped by at dinnertime. No one spoke to us when we entered. Waited while staff passed by. Stopped one gal who said they were full, but a table was nearly ready to go; we could wait. After 20-25 minutes with no seats, no beverage offer and no movement we left. Had a great dinner at Tiranga. Friendly greeting from the moment we stepped in the door.

The food is AMAZING! Very friendly and professional staff! I absolutely loved my experience there! 10/10 recommend the goat cheese salad and the peppercorn steak!

This restaurant is addictive. We visited two nights in a row. The staff Keema the bar tender and Tilsha our server was amazing. The food was affordable and very good.

This is the restaurant you want to visit. It is affordable and has great food. Good customer service as well. I have no complaints. They keep me coming back

Always wanted to dine at this restaurant and I finally took some time and made reservations for me and my love. Our experience here was far better than I anticipated. The natural ambience and The warm welcome of the employees brought a feeling of home. The food was prepared and served in perfect timing and the presentation was as beautiful as the taste of each dish. My experience was amazing, so much so I didn’t want to leave. I Definitely recommend this Resturant to be added on your “to go list”.

Tenderloin had good flavor this time around, cook was rare. Very good also is the service. It's genuine, thoughtful and fast. Highly recommended.

A magnificent gem of a restaurant within a mile of the Marriott Frigate Bay. My wife and I have eaten at all the top rated restaurants on St. Kitts in the last fortnight and Poinciana surpasses them all. Superb!

Tenderloin was cooked rare as requested but it had no flavor at all. Not even a touch of salt. The cheese cake was not cheese cake. Falling over, too soft. Four of us had the cheese cake and no one enjoyed it. Disappointing because our last visit was 4 out of 5. Will try one more time in future and edit review if addressed.

Excellent lobster Thermidor. Everything was great. Escargot, shrimp, fettuccini Alfredo and French onion soup
